The three women I admire most are my mum for her unconditional love, Barbara Hepworth for her creativity and the Queen, for her unwavering sense of duty and dignity!

Babara Hepworth is one of the most important artists of the twenthieth century. Hepworth trained and created art alongside her domestic duties, during times of restrictive space, and represented a link with pre-war ideals in a climate of social and physical reconstruction in a largely male-dominated art-world. She is now one of the few women artists to achieve international prominence. Her current exhibition at The Tate includes sculptures in bronze, stone and wood. These are on display in the museum and garden, along with paintings, drawings and archive material. The garden is laid out in positions she originally placed them with her friend, the composer Priaulx Rainier. Here are a few of my favourite pieces..
